We’re excited to announce strong Q2 results, fueled by key partnerships, buyer acquisition, and growth in online sales.
“Increases in buyer confidence, as well as our team’s ability to attract high quality inventory into the Marketplace, resulted in robust growth in the second quarter,” said Ryan Downs, President and CEO of Proxibid. “Online sales continue to grow despite instability in the economy, further illustrating the power of the Proxibid Marketplace as the most trusted way for buyers and sellers to transact online.”
Among those key partnerships is Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Classic Car Auctions. During Q2, we ran the first two event with the company, including the Palm Beach and Northeast Auctions.
Another important partnership that began in Q2 is with John Deere. In May, a syndication agreement with John Deere brought more than 17 dealers in 200 locations with approximately 6,000 items listed in Proxibid’s Buy Now and Make Offer transaction methods. In addition, Proxibid’s partnership with eBay gives the partnership with John Deere extra muscle, where those 6,000 items are also syndicated to eBay. If you’re in the market for a high quality farm implement from a trusted dealer, check out the DeereMAX seller page on Proxibid.
Strong online sales also propelled a high growth quarter for Proxibid. We had several high dollar sales with premier auction companies, including an incredible sale with Terra Point, LLC., a construction and heavy equipment seller.
