Elvis Presley’s 1971 Mercedes Benz 280SEL

This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SEL was purchased new by Elvis Presley and retained until his death. It has been repainted Alpha Crystal Blue Metallic to match Presleys 1971 Mercedes-Benz 600. The car is powered by a fuel-injected 169.5ci 6-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 193 ft/lbs of torque mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is also equipped with many options including power brakes power steering power windows air conditioning and Becker Europa AM/FM radio with 8-track player. The vehicle went from Presleys garage to a museum where it has been on display for 40 years. It is accompanied by documentation from the purchase including Bill of Sale registration and other executed paperwork as well as a photograph of the car in front of Graceland.
