Porsche is one of the most revered brands in the collector car world. Silverstone Auctions is one of the most trusted collector car auction houses in Europe. 1985 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo SE: Purchased by Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest in 1985, this car was his pride and joy, inspiring the iconic “Turbo” album and single “Turbo Lover.” For the first time in this car’s history, it will be offered for sale – showing only 14,100 miles on the odometer. Estimate: £180,000 – £220,000.
1998 Porsche 911 (993) Turbo “S”: This UK supplied example is only one of 26 built in right-hand drive, and is presented in a striking combination of Ocean Blue with Grey leather and bespoke carbon fiber interior trim. Estimate: £245,000 – £285,000.
1968 Porsche 911 SWB: Built in left-hand drive, this Solid Tangerine example was manufactured for the US market and one of the last cars built on the original wheelbase before the LWB B-Series cars were introduced later that year. Estimate: £80,000 – £100,000.
1962 Porsche 356 “Super 90” Cabriolet: Among collectible 356 models, the “Super 90” enjoyed great success as a rally car. This example is accompanied with a comprehensive file, including a replacement of the engine to the original and correct specification in 2001. Estimate £165,000 – £185,000.
1991 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS: The most dynamic 911 since the original Carrera RS in 1973, this model was built on the time-honored philosophy to “reduce weight, add power.” This example is built in left-hand drive was first delivered to Germany, but has spent most of its life in professional storage in the UK. Estimate: £130,000 – £150,000.
1976 Porsche 911 (930) Turbo 3.0: An early first-year US car, this example is built in left-hand drive and originally delivered to Beverly Hills. The car has been restored to an exceptional level, and finished in Copper Brown Metallic with a light Cork interior. Estimate: £130,000 – £160,000.
