More than 100 years ago, a gentleman began collecting baseball cards that came with his packs of cigarettes. His impressive collection stayed in his family, and after all these years, it is finally being offered to the public. This century-old haul features cards dating back to 1909-1911, and includes Hall of Famers like Cy Young and Ty Cobb. A collection of this quality and quantity is unheard of, and avid baseball fanatics will not want to miss their chance at relics such as:
- Lot 50a: Ty Cobb – This Ty Cobb portrait features the player against a red background. This card comes from a pack of El Principe De Gales and is graded SGC 70 Ex+ 5.5.
- Lot 58a: Cy Young – This card features a portrait of Cy Young and is also from a pack of El Principe De Gales cigarettes. It is graded SGC 60 EX 5.
