Hemmings Motor News and Proxibid Launch HemmingsPRO

Today, we announced a partnership with Hemmings Motor News to bring Proxibid’s transactional capabilities to Hemmings.com. This new ecommerce solution, dubbed HemmingsPRO, is now accessible to buyers across Hemmings.com and Proxibid.com. Buyers and sellers can negotiate using Proxibid’s Buy Now and Make Offer product set, a traditional ecommerce method.

Even in the short amount of time we have used HemmingsPRO, we have experienced great success, with several offers already and one closed sale within just a few days of signing up. Adding HemmingsPRO to our sales toolkit gives us access to more buyers than ever, and provides access to the most trusted ecommerce engine in the industry. Already we are seeing the benefits of adding transactional capabilities to our listings.

With just 12 cars listed initially for JP Frazier/Americar, Inc., every car received browsing activity and offers on several cars were received in just the first two weeks.

What the Partnership Means for Buyers

Partnering with Hemmings will bring more classic cars to the Proxibid Marketplace from the best dealers in the world. The best part – every transaction on Proxibid and Hemmings are protected by Proxibid’s best-in-class risk management system. Only qualified buyers and sellers are able to participate in negotiation on our platform, and every sale is monitored by Proxibid’s dedicated risk management team.

The Proxibid Marketplace is quickly becoming a destination for collector cars, with several of the biggest names in collector car auctions using Proxibid’s Live and Timed Auction platform. Adding highly reputable dealers from HemmingsPRO in the Buy Now and Make Offer format increases flexibility and selection for our buyers, without losing the safety and trust that has been built in the Marketplace.
